Portable Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio v19.1.4.11 (x64) Multilingual

DaVinci Resolve Portable is the only software in the world that integrates professional-grade 8K editing, color correction, visual effects, and audio post-production into one powerful tool! With a single click, you can seamlessly switch between editing, color grading, effects, and audio. DaVinci Resolve Studio also stands out as the only solution designed for multi-user collaboration, enabling editors, assistants, colorists, VFX artists, and sound designers to work together in real time on the same project. Whether you are an individual artist or part of a large team, it's clear why DaVinci Resolve is the industry standard for high-end post-production and finishing on more Hollywood films, TV shows, and commercials than any other software.

What's New in DaVinci Resolve Portable:

The latest release of DaVinci Resolve Portable introduces an entirely new Cut Page tailored for editors who need to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines. The new DaVinci Neural Engine utilizes machine learning to offer innovative features like facial recognition, speed warp, and more. You can now apply effects and color grades to clips using Adjustment Clips on the timeline, export projects quickly to YouTube and Vimeo, and take advantage of GPU-accelerated scopes for enhanced technical monitoring. Additionally, Fusion has been optimized for speed, and Fairlight now supports immersive 3D audio. DaVinci Resolve Portable is a huge update, packed with hundreds of features that customers have requested!

Introducing the Cut Page

Designed specifically for fast-paced work like TV commercials and news cutting, the Cut Page focuses on speed. It offers a streamlined interface and revolutionary new tools that make editing faster than ever. This page allows you to import, edit, trim, add transitions, titles, automatically match colors, mix audio, and much more — all in one place. Whether you're delivering content for broadcast or uploading to YouTube, the Cut Page has everything you need to get the job done. Plus, the traditional Edit Page is still available, so you can easily switch between the two depending on your editing style.

Speed Editor Enhancements on the Edit Page

The Speed Editor functionality on the Edit Page has been improved with several workflow enhancements. The Sync Bin button now opens the source viewer in multicam mode, while the CAM buttons allow you to switch between angles in multicam clips and timelines. Functions like audio level, trim in/out, and other features prioritize selection followed by track order. The Slip Source button now works on the clip under the playhead, and the Slip Dest button operates on the following clip, with other Speed Editor functions now matching the behavior of the Cut Page.

Improvements for Subtitles

DaVinci Resolve Portable now allows you to override individual properties for each subtitle caption, such as font family and style, while maintaining consistent font size and background. Imported HTML-rich text in SRT files is also better handled, making subsequent font changes smoother. You can now set per-track deliverable rules, targeting specific markets with customized CPS, timing, and line rules. Track styles and rules can be saved and recalled as presets from the Inspector’s three-dot menu.

New Track Creation in the Edit Timeline

When you right-click to add a new track in the timeline, it is now inserted adjacent to the track you clicked, streamlining the process. The dialog also suggests the optimal position for new tracks when adding multiple tracks at once.

Fusion Media Inputs in the Edit Inspector

You can now drag and drop clips from the Media Pool directly into the Edit Inspector as inputs for Fusion effects. This enhancement allows you to create media drop targets when building Fusion effects, plugins, and transitions.

Improved Support for Nested Compound Clips

Multicam and simple compound clips now support combined sizing and alpha adjustments, preserving the resolution of underlying media while applying changes in the parent timeline.

New Resolve FX Sky Replacement Tool

The new Resolve FX Sky Replacement tool allows you to key out and replace the sky in shots with either B-roll or artificially generated sky textures. This feature is perfect for maintaining consistent skies between shots or creatively altering the background to set the tone and mood of a scene.

Pre-Social Media Review of Rendered Clips

From the render queue's three-dot menu, you can now enable the Review Before Upload feature. Once rendered, jobs with internet presets will render to disk, waiting for you to review and upload them to social media platforms. You can check the quality and content of your rendered file before sharing it.

Individual Timeline Locks in Multi-User Collaboration

With DaVinci Resolve 18.1, you can lock and edit individual timelines without locking the parent bin’s contents, offering greater flexibility in multi-user projects. You can also lock individual media pool bins to secure their contents independently.

Streamlined View Menu

The View menu has been reorganized to make it easier to focus on view-related options applicable to the entire application. It has been reduced from over 40 items to 25, with some options moved into hierarchical choices or context menus for specific pages (e.g., Color).

Dolby Vision Cinema Trim Support

DaVinci Resolve now supports Dolby Vision XML 5.1.0 format, including trim support for Dolby Vision cinema targets and L11 metadata. Users can create trims for both Home and Cinema targets by selecting the appropriate display targets during export.

Fairlight Automation Curve Updates

Fairlight now includes substantial updates to audio automation curves, such as vector-based keyframing and the ability to graphically enter, edit, trim, and nudge keyframes using standard editing tools.

DaVinci Resolve now offers a new Automation Editing View, accessible via the track header automation drop-down menu, allowing for advanced keyframe and curve management. You can now easily add (Option/Alt-click), remove (Ctrl-Alt/Cmd-Option-click), and move individual keyframes, or select and edit keyframe ranges with cut/copy/paste functionality. A configurable keyboard shortcut lets you switch quickly between the fader views for efficient workflow.

Automation curve data written by control surfaces now appears as keyframes along the curve line. When you move keyframes, smooth ramps are created between adjacent points, and when moving multiple keyframes, bounding keyframes are automatically added to preserve the surrounding values. Additionally, you can carve out trims by selecting an area and dragging up or down, instantly adjusting levels within the selected area—hold the Shift key for fine-tuning.

In multi-tool focus mode, pressing Shift-Alt/Shift-Option temporarily switches to the pencil tool to redraw curves. An overlay now appears when trimming or adjusting keyframes, showing values such as “-8.5 dB (?1.3 dB)”, indicating both the absolute level and the change made during the adjustment.

The Select Range Mode Tool has been removed as it is no longer needed. The Multi Tool in Focus mode can now be used within the automation curve view to select and manipulate keyframes.

Fairlight Automation Mode Updates

Several enhancements have been added to automation modes in the Fairlight page:

  • Automation values now update when moving the playhead to a new location, ensuring smooth automation recordings without discontinuities. Faders will always reflect the current automation level when the playhead is parked.

  • The Fairlight > Automation menu has new options, including:

    • Write automation to the Start, End, or All of the timeline.

    • Join allows you to manually resume automation in Latch Mode from the current level.

    • Active Range enables you to set an automation active zone (marked in red on the ruler), restricting where automation can be written. Automation previews automatically switch at the borders, allowing playback before and after the active range, with recording inside the defined range.

Trimming can now be initiated by touching and holding the fader before pressing play, or by pressing the automation punch button during playback. The punch button turns red, and the fader cap turns yellow to indicate that trimming has started on certain channels.

You can disable per-track automation recording or playback by right-clicking the automation arm icon in the mixer and selecting Off or Safe.

Additionally, the user preference “Include mixer events in the undo stack” in the Fairlight tab allows you to undo mixer actions directly from the Edit > Undo menu (Control/Cmd-Z).

Fairlight Grid Mode

The new Fairlight Grid Mode allows you to position clips on a grid based on either timecode or musical tempo. From the Grid Options next to the Timeline View options, you can customize grid line visibility, duration, and snapping. The timecode grid offers resolutions of 1 second, 1 frame, 1/2 frame, and 1/4 frame, while the tempo grid can be customized with beats per minute, note durations, and time signatures.

The ruler context menu enables you to set grid start points at specific timecode locations, or create grids from a selected time range. Musical tempo grid lines are labeled with bars, beats, and note durations, with locations like “003|03|09” representing “bar 3, beat 3, and nine 16th notes”.

Voice Isolation and Dialogue Leveler in Fairlight

Voice Isolation Processing uses DaVinci Neural Engine AI to remove unwanted background sounds from voice recordings, such as jackhammers or general noise like traffic or air conditioning. This feature is ideal for noise reduction or room sound removal. You can enable voice isolation for mono and stereo clips or tracks in the Fairlight, Edit, and Cut Pages. The effect includes an Amount control to adjust the level of isolation for more natural results.

The Fairlight FX Dialogue Leveler is a powerful tool for automatically leveling dialogue recordings, perfect for inconsistent mic levels, multiple speakers, or other variations in volume. The leveler improves dialogue balance without relying on traditional compression or manual level adjustments. It offers 4 presets optimized for different types of dialogue, along with 3 module switches for tailoring the response to your material.

Neat Video Plugin (Included)

The Neat Video Plugin is a powerful tool designed to reduce noise, flicker, and other imperfections in video footage, especially footage captured in low light, from older formats, or with devices like DSLRs and drones. Neat Video is available as a plug-in for DaVinci Resolve and other popular video editing software.

How Neat Video Works:

  • Noise Profiling: Neat Video creates customized noise profiles for each video clip, allowing it to reduce noise based on the specific characteristics of the footage.

  • Dual Filtering: Neat Video uses both temporal (across frames) and spatial (within individual frames) filtering techniques to effectively remove noise while preserving essential details.

  • User-Friendly Interface: Neat Video offers an intuitive interface for both beginners and advanced users, with customizable settings for finer control over noise reduction.

Types of Noise Addressed:

  • Random-color pixels and grain from low-light footage.

  • Flicker from inconsistent lighting sources.

  • Compression artifacts.

  • Dust, scratches, and other imperfections in digitized footage.

Neat Video is optimized for modern systems, using multi-core processors and GPU acceleration to deliver fast results with minimal impact on video quality.
